Last night, my friends had a martini party. This wasn't just any party, it was a fancy,dress up, super fun party to celebrate my good friend Kim's 40th birthday.
Luckily, I bought a super cute fancy cocktail dress last Fall for a trip I was planning this Spring. So I was all ready to go. I had planned to wear it in warmer climates but with tights and a sweater, it worked. I curled my hair and put on my makeup and a smile and had a fabulous time. I really do love these people. They are my chosen family.
