The next night, we planned to meet Dad and Cindy at Texas Roadhouse for some yummy vittles. Philip was craving steak. I love their rolls so the diet went to hell. It was delicious and worth every single calorie. Against Philip's will, they brought over the saddle chair and invited Philip to mount up....and he did! They didn't sing happy birthday but shouted out to everyone to give a yeeeeeehaaaawww for his birthday. It was great to see Dad and Cindy too.
On Saturday, we planned to celebrate with friends at El Chihuahua. This is just the place to go for decent Mexican food and more importantly, DeathStars. Think different flavored jungle juice in a fish bowl and you get the idea. Philip got an "original" which we call "swamp water" because that is what it looks like. But it is yummy. Philip got a "white" one for his second which was a little sweet for me. We had a party of 18 with friends and family including Philip's Dad and our Moab crew. Another happy birthday singing and some cat calling as one would do on a 21st birthday.
Someone is feeling no pain |
I was the designated driver on Saturday and they limit everyone to 2 Death Stars so Philip and Tiffany came back to my place once they hit the limit and we broke open the Patron tequila and practiced our dancing for the cruise. We all crashed out by 10:00 pm.
Even Bella wanted to join in the fun! |
Happy Birthday Philip! I hope you enjoyed yourself and feel celebrated! You are certainly loved.
