Grandma doesn't talk much anymore and she hasn't been eating much. That is okay for a 98 year old. But when she saw Philip, she wanted to make sure we knew she graduated from East High school. That was so cute that she wanted to share and that she was thinking about Philip's graduation coming up soon. She ordered a chicken breast and she really enjoyed that which was nice to see her eat so well and enjoy herself.
After lunch, we took her back to her room and opened gifts and visited. Grandma loves gifts!! We also took photos. Our last selfie worked out so well we did it again. This time Grandma was all over it and understood what we were doing. She is so dang cute!
We thought Grandma would take a nap but I think we was having too much fun so she read for a bit before her nap. While she was reading and resting, we played a round of "Hand and Foot". It was almost as good as playing on our cruises.
For the evening, we met Mom and Chuck's friends, Dorothy and Ken. We went to the Cliff Inn Restaurant. This was the old hotel by the old airport. It has been completely remodeled and revamped. It was very nice and certainly a huge upgrade. It has a commanding view of St. George and the best food I think I've found in St. George! I was completely wrapped up by the deliciousness. And we had great conversation. While we were there, it rained like no tomorrow. But soon the sunshine came out and we even enjoyed a beautiful rainbow over the city (not captured with a photo).

Philip has a new trick that makes me laugh so hard. Because I am a proud Mom, I asked him to do it for me so I could take a photo. Like most kids, he wouldn't.....unless I paid him. So for $2, I got these little gems below. By far the very best thing I've ever got for $2 and it topped off my Mother's Day just right.

After breakfast, we headed back home. We had a great time and really enjoyed visiting with the fabulous women in our lives. It's things like this that fill my soul to the brim!
Happy Mother's Day!
